Company Profile

Firetronics 2000 was founded in 1999 by David Morris, a passionate member of multiple fire safety committees who has over 25 years of experience in the fire safety industry. At an early age David watched his father Richard Morris pioneer the highly successful company Cerberus Pyrotronics (now Siemens). Starting out of his home, he turned it into one the largest and most successful fire alarm manufacturing companies in Canada. Richard was instrumental in introducing and pioneering the early warning and life safety benefits of Smoke Detectors and Smoke Alarms to Canada back in the mid 1950's.

Inspired by the advocacy and success of his father, David has gone on to make Firetronics a highly respected and conscientious fire alarm system provider and servicing company. He continues to advocate for fire safety, participarting in multiple committees and boards which include: the CFSA (Canadian Fire Association), the CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association), the ULC S-500 Committee on Fire Alarm and Life Safety Equipment, and the Fire Marshall’s Technical Advisory Committee.
